For purposes of having a more involved stroyline, I really hope that someone decides to pick up Lucia's father. He is a rather debauched man who many would certainly call evil if they only knew what was behind the polite, kind, smooth words and soft demeanour. He is a very power hungry individual, and is helped in this endevour by having had a now Gray-Jewelled Queen as a daughter. He is the soort that love politics and thrives on intrigue. The Veratuses are one of Hayll's 100 Families, and they are so far beyond disfunctional behind closed door that is it painful to think about. Julian believes that his second daughter, Olympia, by his late wife Odyne is not his (he, after all, certainly didn't seed such a light-jewelled creature), and refuses to speak to her and does not acknowledge her as his daughter. He is a Prince who wears the Purple Dusk as his Birthright and had (yes, he is Broken of his Jewel of rank) worn the Sapphire. Lucia is the one who Broke him of that power (yeah, starting to sound a bit screwed up yet?). He is also Octavian's father, yes, as in Lucia's Green-Jewelled son. Even bigger step into one of Dante's levels of Hell. He is not acknowledged as Octavian's father, and Octavian done'st even know. It's not something that's talked about very often. Whoever adopts him should know that he is likely to be ultimately a temproiary character as after Lucia learns of the compulsion spells that have been controlling her her entire life and has them removed, I intend for her to kill him - though if by that time you decide you rather enjoy playing such a sick prick then we can arrange for a narrow escape.
