((Attn: Nova))

Malice had never been to Askavi, Kaeleer before. However, it did remind him of similar territories that had him angry with how things had ended for him. Losing his wife and child because of a pig headed Eyrien who he had served loyally for years wasn’t exactly something that made him like the winged creatures walking around him. Yes, Malice was from Dhemlan and the traits were slightly similar, but that didn’t mean there wasn't a difference. To Malice there was a great difference.

Despite all of that, that wasn’t the reasoning behind his trip through Dhemlan and into the land. It was more or less that he knew people who now ruled the land.. Nova.. the woman he casually met at a bar and from there on had a sexual history with. For her age he had to admit that she was quite talented, enough to keep him intrigued. Malice could still think upon a few things they did that were distinguishable.

That didn’t matter to much though while thinking about bed times with Nova drew back to the Healer Queen that now consumed his bed. Not a random, not a game, but a whore, and Malice didn’t say that in a mean manner. Aisling. The previous whore he had meant by chance on her day off. The chemistry physically and mentally took off, but as Malice found that need for her as any Warlord Prince found his Queen he had been uncertain at first. He had thought that his wife was that.. but still nothing compared to what he felt when he was with Aisling. He went to Nova’s with an open mind, but very much with a closed heart.

It all seemed so familiar, other than Nova’s familiar scent filling the whole palace as Malice entered with a black shirt, exposing some his chest accompanied with black slacks. He walked into her palace in the same manner as he had with Lady Dashvar’s, drawing a smile upon his lips even while he entered the receiving room. He walked up to the office woman this time though with such confidence that he knew he wasn’t about to be seated to wait.

“Lady Kalia is expecting me, and if she isn’t you make sure to see that she will see me.” He said with a happy grin. “Malice Murdayne is here. She’ll know the name.” Was all he said as he placed his hands in his

Nova was in a meeting with Evanar and some of the darker jewelled male warriors they had recruited. Evanar had promoted them to higher ranking positions that Nova didn’t really care to understand. She had faith in her Master of the Guard and that was all that mattered. He explained that it had something to do with organization and keeping them accountable for each other. It sounded fine to her. She just wanted to discuss the logistics and she thanked The Darkness when the meeting was over.

Just as she was packing up her notes, Desiree knocked on the meeting room door and Nova instructed her to enter.
“My apologies, Lady,” she began. “A Prince Murdayne is here to see you.”
Nova’s interest peaked immediately, but then she became curious.
“Why have you been sent? Where is Carltar? He is the butler that I hired for this job,” she said.
“Yes, Lady, I was simply cleaning the receiving room to which Prince Murdayne was escorted. I believe he thought I was some kind of receptionist,” she smirked at the idea. “He ordered me to see to it that you expected him.”
“Is that so?” Nova asked as the males filed out of the room trying to avoid the temper that Nova was known to having should anyone disrespect her position or authority as it seemed Prince Murdayne had. “Not to worry, Desiree, please return to your duties. I will receive him now.” She smiled politely and vanished her things, heading straight to the receiving room where she probed to feel his presence.

Nova was glad in that moment that she took the time every day to make herself look presentable. She was wearing a tight black pencil skirt and black peep-toe pumps. She wore a silk emerald camisole which matched the green jewel in her pendent. She wore a black cap sleeved jacket which was casually left open. Her pendent, which was new – a coronation gift from her mother, hung low enough to accentuate her breasts. The pendent was half green and half grey with shards from both of her jewels and set in a white-gold oval setting. She had kept her hair curly as it was easier to maintain than making it straight. She had clipped the volumous hair behind her head so that it was left long but hung off her face. Her lips were nude and her eyes were lined heavily with kohl, as they often were.

She entered her receiving room without knocking. The room was designed in rich purple and shimmery grey tones. It had two deep purple love seats and two matching armchairs, both decorated with silver pillows and surrounding a small coffee table. Nova met him with a smile.

“Well, well,” she began. “I was wondering if I would ever see you again,” she mused. “What brings you to my territory?” She asked, enjoying the words as she spoke them aloud. When Malice had last seen her she had been the ward of Kyrian Dashvar, whom she now loathed, and in another realm completely. They had had some good times and she wondered if that was why he was here. The thought aroused her. He was the only man who had managed to make her respond physically with just a thought. She had definitely not forgotten him, even with the many lovers that she had taken as a distraction. It didn’t matter who or what they wore. No man had compared since. She often feared no man ever would and yet, here he was to ease her fears.

Walking around the room, Malice observed the finely decorated room that had Nova’s taste and scent plastered all over the walls. He smiled as she remembered the Queen fondly, how she had been so blunt and seductive. Young, yes, but she did have talent and that was something that Malice would never forget about her. A pretty girl between the sheets that occurred more than once which was fine with him. The Warlord Prince couldn’t help but wonder if his visit this time would entail such actions even if there were complications for him now.

There was a little Healer Queen who he had left at his home in Dhemlan and quite displeased with him, remembering her pouty face and intense words. She was sweet, sexy and more than anything she loved Malice and it was all a new area for him as well. Was he falling for the witchling, he could say he was, but in that moment he couldn’t worry about her. Did he plan on sleeping with Nova? No, but if it was necessary to gave what he needed, who knows what he would decide.

Turning around while the familiar Queen’s voice rang through the air, Malice grinned with pleasure while his golden eyes fell upon her. He looked at her, obviously running his eye up and down her body just for good old times. After all, she was still a pretty thing. He gave a small, warm laugh while he closed the distance between them. “To see you, of course and your new Territory. Is a man not allowed to visit a young and beautiful Queen?” He grinned, offering his hands to her respectfully, but only because in all honesty he was a little proud that Nova had gotten her own Territory. It made things more challenging for him, but it rid her of Lady Dashvar’s land for the time being.

“How have you been darling? Stomping on toes and taking control, I do hope.” A little small talk wouldn’t hurt, and finding a more comfortable place to maybe discuss why he was there. To kill Nova? Not particularly that moment, but it would do him some good getting his wine into Askavi for awhile, just until he finished destroying Askavi, Terreille that is. He smiled with that thought.

“Yes, a man is allowed.” Nova grinned. She offered him her hands and noted that he relinquished control by placing his hands below her. Finally. She had wanted him to submit so badly before and yet, here he was, in her palace in her territory and following the natural order of things. She appreciated it and was happy to see him so she leaned in some more and kissed his cheek as good friends often do.

“Actually, yes,” she said and indicated that he sit with her on one of the sofas. She sat and adjusted her skirt. “We have a lot to catch up on, I’ll have my hearth witch brings us some coffee.” She did just that, sending a private thread and turned to explain how she had been stomping toes.

“I recently adjusted the number of provinces here in Askavi, Kaeleer, which means a couple of the province Queens were a little upset with me.” She shrugged. “I lost some respect from them and their courts but honestly, what is the point of paying a Queen to rule a province with no people in it, or no blood? It made no sense to me. The land isn’t going on ignored, I just moved the other province boundaries to account for that land and the rulers that I did keep were alright with that. Not that they had much choice.”

“Other than that I’ve been... well, supporting many warriors here at my eyrie. The barracks are full and more are in construction. My master of the guard is very pleased. We’ve taken on many males in hopes of gaining their respect and encouraging their ways. There have been far less jhinka attacks, that’s for sure. Only the far west have experienced any and there are no blood villages there. My men have been making rounds of the province to practice and keep my people safe. Their services cost money but the people feel much safer and so I feel that it is worth it. I’m gaining their trust.”

“And how is Askavi, Tereille?” Nova asked. “I haven’t heard a thing from the territory since I left it. No congratulations or anything from my old caretaker. Rotten bitch could burn in hell for all I care.” She flashed Malice a grin. She didn’t know how he felt about his own Queen but regardless of whether he wanted to stand up for her or not, he was in her territory now and she could choose not to tolerate any defence of Queen Kyrian Dashvar while she was around.

He noticed the smile that Nova gave when Malice offered his hands in submission and it only made his golden eyes sparkle. Ever since their first encounter Malice had known that Nova wanted nothing more than for Malice to do so. It wasn’t that he actually felt that he should submit to the Queen, but did so more to entertain her. She was the new ruler of Askavi Kaeleer and she should feel some sort of accomplishment from that, even if Malice despised what she was. He knew how to play a Queen though and to make her believe that his intentions were sincere, which as she leaned in to kiss his cheek he knew that she was falling for it.

Nonetheless as she motioned for him to sit on the sofa he walked over and did so accordingly, allowing his arms to rest alone the back frame of it as he listened to what she had been up to. Lots it would seem as she went on about her Court and what she was doing with the Province rulers as well as the people. All in all he had to admit he was somewhat impressed at how fast the young Queen had acted, but then again from the very beginning he knew she was a very ambitious little witch. It was one of the things that attracted Malice to Nova especially. He loved a woman who knew what she wanted and made sure she got it, even if it met hurting people in the process.

It seemed though her story telling was done and it was time for him to tell his own. She wanted to know about Askavi, Terreille which wasn’t much of a surprise as too the comments he made about Kyrian Dashvar. He grinned, not even be able to surpass that chuckle in his voice while he adjusted in his seat. “Terreille is well.. the same old boring thing it was before you left. As for the Queen… she is probably just envious of you. How could she not when you exceed her beauty and talent to run a territory?” Again there was that sparkle in his eye that made every word he said believable, even to the point that it could make him physically sick just thinking about it.

That didn’t matter though, Malice had come for a few purposes that day and as seeing what he done with the territory was on, another was doing some business of his own. Rubbing his jaw line for a moment Malice called in one of his bottles of wine, an older age he had made which was one of the better ones and more expensive ones as well. “How about a little celebration between the two us for old time sake? We can toast to your new territory, seeing each other again and whatever else that pretty face of yours would like to toast too.” Malice gave Nova a wink before looking around the room for maybe some glasses for them to drink from. If they were going to heavily drink they would need something much, much stronger, but for the time being his wine would get them started.

A huge grin slipped across Nova’s face when Malice spoke and called in his wine. She immediately sent a thread to her hearth witch and cancelled her order for coffee. Wine was a much, much better idea. After all, in had been a few months since she had seen Malice and she certainly hadn’t had much quality time with anyone in the last little while either. Drinking with Malice could be the release she needed, she had been tense lately.

*Cancel all my appointments,* she added and returned to her guest.
“Sounds excellent,” she said. “I think we should leave this formal receiving room and retire to someplace more comfortable. I have a balcony outside of my private room and office that overlooks the practice fields. It will be perfect.” She stood from her seat and had Malice take her arm so that could lead him to there.

As they walked through the long corridors where her court’s offices and receiving rooms were, Nova noticed the way many of her staff looked at her guest. The females showed intrigue but kept their eyes mostly averted out of respect for Nova’s potential claim. The males were intimidated by his strength but felt slightly awkward and aggressive by his caste and they showed concern over their own claims. It all made Nova smile at Malice affectionately. She had his attention just as eagerly as he had all of theirs and that was what Nova liked best.

They exited out the kitchen patio doors onto the main floor veranda. At the end of the length of the eyrie were the stairs to her own balcony and she climbed them watching the males on the practice field pay no mind to them. Here, they could have privacy. They could drink, enjoy each others company and watch the sun set. Since her appointments had been cancelled, they could drink through the rest of the afternoon, into the evening and well into the night if they wanted to, and Nova hoped that they would. They were just outside her room should he choose to appreciate her company in a more intimate way later.

Nova led Malice to the patio chairs and nodded at the door to her room. “I have a mini bar in my room,” she said. “I’ll get us some glasses.” She entered her room and stopped momentarily at her vanity to check that her appearance was still flawless. She smirked and retrieved the glasses on her way back out. “I also have harder alcohol should the need arise.” She placed the glasses on the table and took a seat across from Malice while he poured.

“If you’d like to stay the night or even a few days, I would love your company and hope that you will take advantage of my invitation. I have many suites available and can let the eyrie and my court know that you are a welcome guest that should be respected and obeyed.” She smiled and shrugged taking her now full glass and lifting it to her lips for a sip. “Mmm.” She licked her lips. “The wine is lovely.”

Drawing in the wine reminded Malice very much of the first time that he met Nova. She was young, confident and he knew when she saw him that he became his target. He wasn’t really interested at the time, but as she showed him more experience he knew that he found something he liked. He liked confident and aggressive woman, which was even why as Malice was told that they were moving towards a more comfortable place he grinned at her. How could a Warlord Prince turn a woman like her down? Especially when she was so open to wanting to sleep with him and she had just gained that lovely title. She may have been the caste he hated the most, but it also meant that if he hurt her there was more to his name. It thrilled and excited Malice all at the same time.

The fact that Aisling slipped his mind a bit didn’t even occur to the Warlord Prince until he was walking behind Nova and thinking about how much he wanted to destroy Queens. What about his Queen? What about the little witchling he loved to wrap around his body every time he saw her? His jaw set hard as he felt ashamed for forgetting her for a moment. He wasn’t used to caring about other people’s feelings and in this particular business moment Malice couldn’t afford too. So he pushed Aisling’s feelings aside and focused on Nova’s rear. He couldn’t let his defenses down.

He felt the others eyes and he was used to that. Who could they blame for being who they are? He just smiled as he was lead out onto patio, looking at the chair before the door that lead to Nova’s room. He nodded as she left as well as opening the bottle of wine. As he did he drew it to his nose to smell, bathing in the fragrance. He loved wine; the smell and the taste. When she returned he chuckled, “You’re just as tempting as I remember you. Bring it out. Maybe we can start an interesting game.” He gave the challenging look with a warm smile as he sat down and poured the glasses she got of the wine. “Let me know what you think. It’s one my oldest and favorite.” He smiled at her, his own hands eager to reach for it and take a sip. Then her words came and he grinned pulling it to his lips as she did too. He was glad she liked it.

“I just might take you up on that offer, however what if I don’t want to stay in another suite. What if I want to stay in your bed?” He looked at the door to her room for a second, “with you in that bed for a few days… Could you clear your schedule?” He took another sip with grin on his lips as he finished. “Maybe you should bring out the hard stuff too, because if you’re about to get all Queenling on me I will need something to shake that feeling I got when I saw you.” Malice leaned back into his chair, “If I’m being inappropriate please let me know and if it’s to another suite I go, I’ll make sure to see if your guards can handle a male like me.” He grinned. “I already know you can handle parts of me.” Had to test out her court didn’t he? That way he would be able to hurt her more in the process when she didn’t know.

ooc: wow, it has been forever. I'm sorry. Message me if our plans have changed. I'll have to touch base with you cause I always forget what my plans are.

Nova simply grinned, pulling her glass to her lips. He did want her. She knew it and she loved that feeling. She placed her glass on the table and threw her head back, running her fingers through her long hair, loosening it up and allowing the cool breeze to relax her. Nova sighed.

“Nothing you could say, Prince, would offend me,” she said and took another sip of the wine. It was delicious. “I do enjoy a fine wine, Malice, but more than wine, I enjoy a fine male, and I must say, I have seen few finer than yourself.” She put her glass down, feeling as though the comment was pretty bold. She anticipated his response eagerly.

“You can sleep anywhere you’d like while you’re here. I’ll let my Master of the Guard know that you are to be treated as an honoured guest now and anytime you should return. If any of my guards give you a hard time, you let me know and I will speak with them directly.” As she spoke, Nova raised a hand and focused her craft on the whiskey bottle at her suite’s bar. They rose into the air and gently glided into her open hand accompanied by two one ounce glasses.

“Care for some whiskey?” she asked and used her craft to twist the cap off and pour the whiskey into each of the glasses and distribute them accordingly. She took her own glass in her hand and had the bottle lowered to the table. Exhaling, Nova lifted the glass to her lips and shot the whiskey back, feeling the warm burn as it began down her throat. “Mmm,” she said, “hard.”

((OOC: I PM'd you. ))

Malice knew that he was good at getting what he wanted, especially when it came to women. Young women and older woman, it didn’t matter because he had a mysteriousness and charm about him that made it hard for them to ignore. He wasn’t like the males out there because as his race spoke of long age it was old ways that Malice kept when it came to flirting with women. Though he was far from kind most of the time there were moments lately where he found himself drifting into kindness. It wasn’t a kindness he was joyed about it was one that he wouldn’t let Nova see. He had met a Queen who seemed to push all that hard exterior away, but it was with the new Queen of Askavi, Kaeleer that he felt he could be himself again; at least just for a little while.

He couldn’t help but smile as the flirting began. Malice didn’t need to hear that he was very attractive to know, but that didn’t mean that he didn’t mind hearing it. He nodded at the rest of Nova’s words about staying wherever he wanted and that she would tell the guards that he was a friend. Perfect, he thought. He was impressed with how Nova was handling things, but he also was glad that he hadn’t lost his ability to control the Queen himself. With a little wine or whiskey and a few of his seducing tricks he knew that he’d have her just like he had before. “I appreciate your hospitality. I promise to try and be on my best behavior while I am here.” He gave Nova a playful wink.

“I’d love some.” He responded as he took a glass of it himself, taking a large sip that did nothing to him. It did taste good though as a smile crossed his lips afterwards. “I do hope so.” Using his craft Malice retrieved the bottle of whiskey from Nova with a grin, pouring himself a heft drink while he then placed it on the table before him. “So haven’t had any other males around have you?” He asked curiously in a voice that sounded uninterested when he was.

Standing up Malice then began to look around the room while he waited for an answer to his question, slowly and surely making his way behind Nova’s chair to stand behind her. Finishing his glass quickly he floated it to a table nearby before he placed his hands on Nova’s shoulders, “And seeing as you have one here, whatever shall we do?”

Nova smirked as Malice moved with grace from his chair to the back of hers. It was almost as everything her did was a slow and painfully sexy dance. She waved her hands in the air to dismiss the question of males.

“As you know, Prince, my court is full of males, all whom have the responsibility and duty to see to my pleasure.” She turned around in her chair so that she was almost facing him. “However, I have often reminisced on our times together as they saw to these duties and I do not doubt that my responses to them had little to do with their bedroom skills.” Again, she smirked.

Nova stood so that her face was mere inches away from his. “I do suppose that since this is my home and my court and you are also my guest, that it should be your duty that I am taken care of.” She shrugged. “However, I sincerely doubt that you had anticipated any less when you showed up here today, Malice.”

Pulling away from the Warlord Prince, Nova exited her balcony and made her way across the hardwood floors of her suite, kicking off her shoes and placing her bare feet on the soft white of her shag rug. She turned back towards the male and sat on the edge of her bed, leaning back and propping herself on her elbows.

“I have to say, though we haven’t known each other very long, you seem awfully comfortable here. I suppose it’s undeniable that we have such chemistry between us. Look at you, a Warlord Prince with a birthright Green jewel and a descended Grey. I, myself, wear the birthright Green and descended Grey. We met in Askavi, Tereille though we were both strangers there. Both the strongest caste of our sexes that have been ultimately fated to belong to one another and here you are building such sexual tension in my bedroom,” she laughed lightly.

“Why waste the time, Prince? You know what we are meant to do here. You belong here, with me, and in this bed at this very moment.”
